24 Hours To Go!

In about 24 hours, the waiting will have come to an end. We have 23 fantastic submissions and are looking forward to another few that will arrive over the next couple of days. With Saturday as our weekly catch-up day, this will give us a solid month of fic that focuses on happy, unhappy, supportive, fraught, complex, inter-ethnic, inter-generational, inter-species, sensual, intellectual, brotherly and sisterly, motherly and fatherly, class- and genders-spanning friendship between and among people of all magical abilities (or lack thereof). There will be communal nail-painting, solo cricket-watching, joint problem-solving, and mutual banter; there will be crushes, adventures, and unexpected discoveries. And let me just say that the Enid Blyton aficionadas among you will have more than one field day.
So, dear friends ofhp_friendship, pull up an armchair or a piece of Common Room carpet, grab a butterbeer (or gingerbeer), and join us in happy anticipation.
